Dr. Clive Black, Ph.D. is the Head of Research at Shore Capital Group Limited.

He joined the firm in 2003 in this position and covers food and drug retailers, food producers, and household and personal goods sectors.

Dr. Black serves as an Investment Advisor at Shore Capital Stockbrokers Limited. Previously, he served as an Equity Analyst at ING Groep N.V., Research Division.

Dr. Black is one of the UK’s top five stockbroking analysts in food and drug retailing. He was rated first for coverage of smaller companies in this sector in Reuters’ survey.

Dr. Black worked in London for the National Farmers’ Union for five years and then joined Northern Foods plc. He served in stockbroking research division at Charterhouse Tilney for eight years when it latterly became ING Financial Markets.

Dr. Black is a Director at Shore Capital Stockbrokers Limited and holds a Ph.D. from the Queen’s University of Belfast with his thesis being on the Northern Ireland food industry.
